The society is a membership organisation with ultimate governing authority vested in its membership.

Membership of the society allows you to vote at Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings. By voting in general meetings, membership allows you to have a say in the management and future direction of the society.

Members are also permitted to make representations directly to the Executive Committee of the society through the Membership Secretary.

ISCMNS members are eligible to apply for free membership of the society’s
sister societies:

• La Société Française de la Science Nucléaire dans la Matière Condensée (SFSNMC) in France
• The Japanese Cold Fusion Research Society (JCF) in Japan

Members are eligible to stand for the various offices of the society at general meetings.

Offices and lengths of terms are available in the society's governing documents.

Members of the society are eligible for discounts to the International Workshop on Anomalies in Hydrogen Loaded Metals. These discounts are available through the society's membership portal.

Society members are eligible for a discount on merchandise purchased through the society's online store.

Twice yearly, the society hosts exclusive roundtables for the society's student members. A speaker is invited to present to our membership, and following this, student members are invited to interact with the speaker and with each other.
