The society is saddened to share that Dr. Gustave Fralick passed away in February of this year. We offer our sincerest condolences to Dr. Fralick’s family, friends and colleagues.
For 58 years, Dr. Fralick worked as a physicist at NASA and, with his colleagues, conducted one of the earliest replications of the anomalous excess heat effect by gas loading deuterium into a palladium-silver alloy.
Subsequent experimental campaigns at NASA by Dr. Fralick and his colleagues have replicated this early experimental work and expanded on his pioneering achievements. Most recently, Dr. Fralick participated in NASA’s Advanced Energy Conversion and Lattice Confinement Fusion research programs.
Rest in peace.
